COVID UPDATED PROCESS: Health and safety is our highest priority. To ensure the safety of everyone, Scaramanga Ranch has new Production Rental Protocols in alignment with State and Area Health Orders. The following are protocols of the Scaramanga Ranch Property department.
ONLINE SELECTION ONLY: Shopping is strictly online for time being and pick up is by 24-hour advance appointment only. No unscheduled pickups are permitted. So, please submit all paperwork online prior to arrival. If an item is not what you expected, you are under no obligation to rent it. We’ll happily restock items that do not meet your needs.
PAYMENTS: Payments for articles is rendered online at time of order. Delivery fees (if any) are the only remaining balance and due prior to our on-location pickup if you optioned our delivery/pick up service.
DAMAGED RECIEVORSHIP: You will be notified of any damages within 12-hours of our receivership. We do not repair damaged items. Therefore, damaged items are charged at the posted replacement value including of loss of rental fee during the acquisition period, and (if any) loss of funds for rentals which we refund to previously scheduled productions.
IN PERSON PICKUP: All guests MUST wear a face covering while either visiting Scaramanga Ranch or meeting staff in Madrid, NM. Only 2 guests are permitted to engage our staff. All ordered items will be packed or palleted in advance. Although you will be able to inspect each item prior to acceptance.
SITE DELIVERY: Point to point delivery means we will drop your rentals off at a single location. Our delivery folks are not movers and therefore cannot place them exactly where you need them. Only (2) production members may engage, inspect, and accept deliveries. Once items are removed from our delivery vehicle they are now under your care and responsibility.
CLEANING PROPS: Property rentals are quarantined for 48 hours prior to being restocked. Please disinfect/sanitize all items prior to delivering back to us or before our drivers arrive for pick up.
Rental Terms, Policies, & Requirements
All Rentals Require Insurance Certificate & Credit Application, No Exceptions.
Certificate of Liability Insurance with us listed as certificate holder, stated as the loss payee and additionally insured as:

Coverage: Liability Coverage minimum $1 million and Property Coverage. Waiver of subrogation required.
All Accounts: USD Cash / Domestic Credit Only
• Credit Application: Click Here to apply online. Allow up to 48 hours for processing. Urgent processing available at $30 fee. Urgent processing takes up to 6 hours on a weekday. Weekend processing not available.
• Hold Deposit: 50% of rental amount in USD Cash or domestic Credit Card accepted. This holds your rental until time of pick up/delivery or period of rental.
• Rental Pick Up or Upon Delivery: Balance of rental at time of Client pick up, or if delivery is optioned, balance of rental plus transport delivery/pick up fees upon Client inspection at time and place of delivery.
• Account Reconciliation: Account is not closed until all fees have been reconciled. Client accepts any and all costs associated with to collection including but not limited to court and Lessors attorney’s fees.
• Order Cancellations: Cancellations authorized if within 24 hours of online purchase/reservation. Thereafter, 50% deposit non-refundable. Balance payment waived for items/orders cancelled up to 30 days prior to rental period. If cancellation is within 30 days of rental period both deposit and balance are due.
• Reservation Changes: Client reservation date change requests approved at Lessors discretion; and then so only if items are available on the newly requested dates. Client may submit reservation date change requests up to 15 days prior to original rental period and only one time. Thereafter, all payments due in accordance with this policy. Item changes or exchanges to original order not permitted.
• Reservation Extensions: If permitted at sole discretion of Lessor, and only if items are available on requested extended dates, Client is required to pay additional rental amount incurred including any and all other fees prior to account being satisfied and in accordance with policies and terms noted here.
• Damaged Rentals: Damaged items are replaced, not repaired by Lessor at the value defined by lessor and disclosed on the items online profile page, this in addition to: loss of rental at 25% of daily rental fee until item has been replaced, loss of rental income for previously scheduled rentals if cancelled as a result of item loss, and any and all costs or fees pursuant to acquisition and or shipping to 5 Marid Heights, Madrid, NM 87010. Replacement procurement is conducted by Lessor. Replacement must be exact same item, age, patina, and condition. If an exact match replacement cannot be found within 10 days to damage notification or discovery, an exact item in better condition or equitable item is suitable at the Lessors sole discretion.
